Businesses looking for leads into the entire green buzz from green buildings to sustainable development to eco-awareness can look forward to BEX Asia 2009 on 28 to 30 October 2009 at Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore.

The trade event will be held alongside the first International Green Building Conference (IGBC) by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.

BEX Asia 2009 is an avenue for property development and its related market companies to showcase of green products and services, exchange knowledge and best practices, network and conduct business across the region with an emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable development.

To date, there are about 100 participating companies from the region including China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Germany, Italy and the USA.

Meanwhile, IGBC’s theme ‘Build Green The Future is Now’ will feature renowned speakers who will discuss topics like the greening of existing buildings and smart passive design, emerging new technologies, building information models and IT solutions, best practices in green roofing and facades, green projects and construction.

Singapore’s ‘Zero Energy Building’ which is developed by BCA will also be unveiled during the event.
