The winners of the annual Malaysia Property Award 2009 organised International Real Estate Federation of Malaysia (FIABCI-Malaysia) was recently announced during a ceremony graced by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj.

Outgoing Malaysia Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) group managing director Shahril Ridza Ridzuan was honoured as the Property CEO of the Year. Six other awards presented during the event are to Puteri Harbour, Nusajaya, Johor by UEM Land Berhad for the Master Plan category; Park Seven, Kuala Lumpur by Selangor Dredging Berhad for the Residential (High Rise) category; Adiva, Kuala Lumpur by Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd for the Residential (Low Rise) category; The Curve, Mutiara Damansara by Boustead Curve Sdn Bhd for the Retail Development category; Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur by Menara Hap Seng Sdn Bhd for the Office Development category; and Sooka Sentral by MRCB for the Purpose-Built Project category.

Winners of the Malaysia Property Award 2009 will represent Malaysia to compete in the ‘Fiabci Prix d’Excellence’ international award event which will be held during the Fiabci 61st World Congress in Bali, Indonesia in May 2010.
