A gathering of some of the greatest minds from around the globe will take place this August in Kuala Lumpur. The inaugural event is part of a monthly series designed to reach out to the community today and build leaders of tomorrow. It hopes to do this by inspiring change within arising from interaction with exemplary and inspiring personalities.

According to the organiser, Live & Inspire, spearheaded by its founder, Tim Fernandez, together with its partner, Friends to Mankind, an NGO focusing on social consciousness, the personalities that take centre stage at the “Gathering” are ordinary individuals who have created the extraordinary.

“Helping individuals find their very source of inspiration, more than often helps one create results for themselves. Organisations that help individuals find their inspiration, ultimately evolve their culture, vision and results. Today, it is moving them from their strengths and purpose. It is about developing individuals and organizations into mastery,” said Fernandez.

The August 20th event will highlight topics on personal growth, organizational growth and community consciousness. Some of the famous personalities that will be speaking include Dr. Patch Adams, whose real life story became a Hollywood hit years ago; Paul Dunn and Masami Sato, founders of global social enterprise called Buy1GIVE1; and Matthias Gelber, who developed new technologies that are both high performance and low in carbon footprint and was awarded the World’s Greenest Man.

Joining them from Malaysia are Tan Sri Razali Ismail, formerly the President of the United Nations General Assembly; Roshan Thiran, former Director of Johnson & Johnson, now CEO of Leaderonomics; Dato’ Abdul Aziz, Chairman of AirAsia; and Dhyan Vimal, author of over 50 books.

The conference party, which will take place at the Securities Commission, Kuala Lumpur, will take off in 3 series:
