EON Bank Targets 2,000 New Clients

EON Bank Group ups the ante by rewarding customers with RM1 million worth of  LCD TVs when they subscribe to all 3 of its products: housing loan, deposit and credit card. Explaining the bundling of the 3 products, EON Bank Group CEO Michael Lor explained: “When customers take on a housing loan, they would also take on a current or savings account to service the loan. As they seek to furnish their homes, a credit card will come in handy. So by bundling all three, we hope to make the process simple and at the same time help our customers save on unnecessary inter-bank transaction charges. In fact, we are rewarding customers with an LCD TV to do just that!”

The 3-month campaign runs from August 2 to October 31, 2010 and will cover both conventional and Islamic products.  Currently, loans with housing developers form 70 % of total housing loans, with the remaining comprising of subsale loans. The bank is targeting  2,000 new customers during the campaign period.
