The Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung, recently launched the MBSB Ultimate, an exclusive Mortgage Programme by MBSB.

In his speech, YB Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung, said that consumers today are becoming financially sophisticated especially the home buyers. Such customers are no longer merely interested in rates. They can now appreciate other attractive benefits and features that are being offered to them.

He added that MBSB Ultimate allows customers to choose their preferred type of protection, offers high preferential saving rates, personal financing at the lowest rate in the market and loan tenure of up to 70 years of age. As such, he can certainly foresee the promising potentials of MBSB Ultimate program in servicing the home mortgage customers.

Dato’ Wira Chor also urged players in the financial and property development industries to effectively play their roles in supporting the government’s initiatives by way of giving affordable lending rates, providing quality homes and observe prudent and ethical lending as all these will facilitate growth in both industries.

Earlier in his welcoming remarks, Tan Sri Abdul Halim Ali, Chairman of MBSB, said that the “Ultimate” is the expression that has been MBSB’s inspiration in developing a home mortgage program that will be the most definitive one in the market.
