Sime Darby Sunrise Development Sdn Bhd (SDSD) has appointed an internationally renowned architectural firm, J + H Boiffils, to design the mixed-use, RM1 bil joint-venture project in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. J + H Boiffils, in collaboration with Randy Shortridge of RB+B based in Colorado, USA, was chosen for its design proposal that best fulfills the vision of the project.
The heart of the development prominently features a generous central park and a series of unique landscape elements and public spaces in the form of tree-lined promenade, plazas, a covered pedestrian boulevard and a sprawling recreational deck planned around a ‘racetrack’ design principle where navigation and relation to the human scale is simple and welcoming.
Datuk Tong Kooi Ong, who is Sunrise Executive Chairman, said SDSD is committed to collaborating with like-minded architects and working with leading designers for its first integrated residential and commercial project in Bukit Jelutong that focuses on the ecological principles of architecture.
