Emerald, Rawang to have new Chinese school

Residents in Emerald and the surrounding areas in Rawang will have a new
Chinese-medium school – SJK (C) Kota Emerald which will be completed in time
for the 2012 intake. Work on SJK (C) Kota Emerald, strategically located in the
heart of the Emerald township, will commence by next month. The six-acre
site for the school was donated by Promakmur Development Sdn Bhd, the joint
venture company between GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd and Hong Bee Land Sdn
Bhd for the development of Emerald. GuocoLand is the project manager of the
township.
