Effective Measure Confirms iProperty.com Malaysia as Malaysia’s No.1 Property Website

Effective Measure, the Official Internet Measurement currency for Malaysia confirmed iProperty.com Malaysia (www.iproperty.com.my) as the No.1 Property Website among Malaysian visitors under its real estate category.

iProperty.com Malaysia was ranked No.14 as South East Asia’s top visited Malaysian website in its recent February 2011 results with 707,285 property hunters spending an average of over 13 minutes searching for property.

“I am delighted to have iProperty.com Malaysia sign up with Effective Measure as their audience measurement currency. From our recent February 2011 audience statistics, I can confirm that iProperty.com Malaysia had the most unique visitors of any property website in the country,” said Russell Conrad, Regional SEA director of Effective Measure.

Country manager of iProperty.com Malaysia Timothy Hor said Effective Measure’s internet measurement system is impressive in its accuracy and in the audience insights it provides.

Hor added, “Getting a confirmation of our position as Malaysia’s No.1 property website from MDA’s appointed audience measurement vendor is an affirmation to advertisers that iProperty.com Malaysia is the website to target the local real estate audience.”

Recently, The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) – of which iProperty.com Malaysia is an associate member - selected Effective Measure as the Official Internet Audience Measurement currency for Malaysia.

Effective Measure provides Malaysian industry stakeholders with the first truly hybrid Internet measurement system, combining website page tagging methodology with a digital panel based system.

It offers a unified view of the Internet landscape in Malaysia.

For the first time in Malaysia, online measurement will be on a level playing field, similar to measurement reports for Television, Radio and Print.

Advertising agencies in Malaysia represented in the MDA have also agreed to make the Effective Measure Dashboard report the de-facto standard for online measurement.

Advertisers and Media Buying Agencies are now able to refer to a standardised and credible report to help make digital media buying decisions.
