GEORGE TOWN, Nov 3- The Penang government should reply to allegation that Bumiputera Housing Trust Fund is not used to build affordable housing for bumiputeras. Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya (BN-Teluk Bahang) told the state assembly here today that contributions to the trust fund has reached RM21mil.

 "It (the fund) is contribution from the private sector, federal government and state government to meet the bumiputera quota," he told reporters outside the State Legislative Assembly (DUN), here Thursday.

 Hilmi said no plans were made by the state government although money from the fund should be used to build affordable housing for bumiputeras. Commenting a statement by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng that Penang will not implement hudud law, Hilmi said PAS and PKR should state their stand.

 "Are they (PAS and PKR) bowing to DAP. I am waiting for their stand on the issue," he added. Lim made the statement during the state assembly session today.-BERNAMA
