SINGAPORE, Nov 11 -Malaysian property developers, IJM Land Bhd, Selangor State Development Corp and Sunway Bhd, will showcase some of their projects at the Malaysian Pavillion at the MIPIM Asia 2011, which will be held in Hong Kong from Nov 15-17, 2011.

 In a statement Friday, MIPIM Asia said the government agencies participating in the trade show included MSC Malaysia (which would be represented by Multimedia Development Corp), UOA Development Bhd and Cyberview. The Malaysian Pavillion is initiated by Malaysia Property Inc, a non-profit government agency under the purview of the Economic Planning Unit.

 MIPIM Asia director, Filippo Rean, said the MIPIM Asia 2011 would serve as a platform for international real estate professionals and industry players to follow industry insights, explore business opportunities and connect with new partners. He said the event would reflect the market reality and bring together the main players and industry deciders operating in the region.

"The event offers a wide range of high-profile social functions and targeted match-making meetings to facilitate networking opportunities and business connections," he said. MIPIM Asia 2011 is organised by Reed Midem. Some 1,800 real estate professionals, including over 300 investors, 150 retailers and numerous senior politicians will take part.

The sixth edition of MIPIM Asia will welcome delegations from some 40 countries with a significant presence of real estate executives from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Russia. -- BERNAMA
