In an effort to ease traffic congestion and to provide a toll-free alternative for commuters at the Klang-Banting junction in Klang, Bandar Botanic is constructing an interchange in the area.

The new interchange is located just before the Pandamaran Interchange at KM19.4 (from Lebuh Raya Shah Alam heading towards Klang) and allows commuters heading to Jalan Langat to pass through Botanic Capital, avoiding the Klang-Banting junction.

A 1.5km flyover comprising of a two-lane single carriageway for traffic from Lebuh Raya Shah Alam (LSA) will serve as ingress to Botanic Capital. The egress route to LSA from Botanic Capital is a two-lane single carriageway ramp.

Tuan Haji Gulcharan Abdullah, chief operating officer of KESAS Sdn Bhd says, “The development of an alternative access from the LSA is a move much welcomed by all parties especially for the residents in Klang. The construction of this interchange will help ease the traffic congestion and make travelling for residents more manageable and convenient.”

Meanwhile, Puan Zahratul’Ula bt. Mohd Ibrahim, central regional director of the Malaysian Highway Authority commented, “We are happy to see developers taking an active role in solving the community‟s problems. We recognise and appreciate Gamuda Land Bandar Botanic corporate social responsibility effort in investing RM36 million towards the construction of the Bandar Botanic flyover. It is good to see developers like Gamuda Land caring for the community and going the extra mile in enhancing the infrastructure facilities within the area.”

Bandar Botanic, Klang is a 1,200 acre residential township developed by Gamuda Land that places homes amidst lakes and parks.
