IOI Properties Berhad recently soft launched The Palette, the main attraction of its IOI Boulevard integrated lifestyle office and retail development in Puchong.
Located at the Golden Mile of Puchong, The Palette consists of 18 F&B outlets and 18 retail lots with a total net lettable area of 58,875 sq ft. The 36 units will be leased out by the developer for full control of the tenant mix.
The Palette was conceptualised to provide a signature place for amateur and aspiring artists to showcase all forms of art such as music, food, calligraphy, dance, painting, fashion design, photography and many more. Musicians, dancers, photographers and others will be welcomed to display their masterpieces and performances here free of charge.
General manager Lee Yoke Har said: “We are all very excited about this project which we firmly believe, will elevate Puchong to the cultural and entertainment status on par with those found in Sri Hartamas and Bangsar.
“With a little effort and the right amount of enthusiasm, we can create a food haven and an entertainment hub with a talent magnet here in Puchong. We want to offer that avenue to the creative community so they too, have a stage to call their own.”
The Palette’s design was inspired by the carefree and laidback atmosphere of London’s Covent Garden. The 36 units look into an open courtyard area covered by a wave-shaped glass canopy specially layered for improved cross ventilation thereby creating a cool and cozy weather-adverse area below.
Targeted to open in June 2009, IOI Boulevard’s office net lettable area is 670,120 sq ft for 322 units, 70 per cent of which has already been taken up. IOI Boulevard enjoys immediate visibility and accessibility from Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), free parking with more than 1,000 basement parking bays, wide walkways, and a ready catchment from the existing 1,000 shops and offices.
