Gamuda Land recently held a charity drive at its Jade Hills development in conjunction with World Kindness Week. Attracting a crowd of more than 1,000, the ‘Enriching Lives – Help a Child’ campaign was aimed at raising awareness of the needs of under-privileged children and to help build a child’s future through education.

Children from several homes including Asrama Penyayang Nur Iman, Rumah Keluarga Kami, Tara Bhavan and Shepherd Centre Foundation were invited to the event.

Part of the campaign involved the sale of Gratitude Stationery Sets, which were sold at RM2 each at schools in the Kajang vicinity. The entire sum collected from the sales would be contributed to the donation fund to procure stationary and daily necessities for underprivileged children.

In addition, Jade Hills pledged RM5 for every purchase made towards the donation fund.
