Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) recently concluded the third Bumiputera Real Estate Expo Kuala Lumpur 2008 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 24 until 26 October.
The exhibition, which was organised with the aim of helping property developers promote Bumiputera lots still available in the market, saw a total of 4,800 units worth a total of RM1.7 billion exhibited throughout the three-day affair.
Over 50 developers participated in the exhibition, displaying a wide range of properties including bungalows, bungalow lots, semi-Ds, terrace houses, apartments, condominiums, shoplots and office units priced between RM78,000 and RM5.9 million. The majority of the properties are in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
Visitors were also provided the latest information such as master plans for developments in the Kuala Lumpur vicinity. Homebuyers were also treated to discounts of up to 15 per cent on homes and shop offices by participating developers. Some developers also offered exemptions of legal and sale and purchase agreement fees.
Jointly organised by MMC Sdn Bhd, the exhibition provided home buyers the opportunity to explore property investment choices, or to acquire their dream homes in the Kuala Lumpur vicinity.
Apart from the sales, other services available at the exhibition included Islamic financial options.
