Asia Pacific Land Bhd (AP Land) launched its luxury property gallery – featuring high-end lifestyle living concept – last week in Kuala Lumpur.

The gallery will house AP Land’s local and foreign property developments, acting as a one-stop centre for its Asia regional expansion into the property markets of China and Japan. Sales and marketing of its current and future launches will be centred at the gallery.

“For AP Land, it is timely for us to have this gallery as it showcases our various products, both locally and overseas. It is also essentially a one-stop centre for property buyers as our gallery provides the right environment for enquiries, sales and negotiations.

“With the right product, personnel service and product information is essential in assisting buyers to make informed decisions, and also to have the confidence and trust in our property development,” said AP Land’s joint managing director, Low Su Ming.

Low noted that the health of global real estate may be going through a challenging period of uncertainty, sparked by the financial turmoil in the US. “However, we strongly believe that AP Land, with its latest luxury product range carefully tailored to target niche market, is better positioned to meet buyers’ expectations,” she said.

The luxury property gallery will feature three key products, namely myHabitat2 which comprises 260 studio units in Kuala Lumpur; Shiki Niseko, a modern contemporary apartment ski resort aimed at “bringing a new identity to the travel and tourism offering in Japan”, and Platinum Galaxy Boulevard, a 14-block commercial development in China. Aimed at multinational and Chinese companies, the development in China features Feng Shui elements in a combination of style, functionality and tradition.

The developer’s other new ventures include Balinese-styled villas fronting a 27-hole golf course in Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang and Penang Island Bay Resort in Penang, which comprises resort bungalows and villas.

In tandem with the rapid growth of Malaysia’s property market, AP Land is planning its growth via a two-pronged strategy of geographical expansion and business segmentation. It continues to increase its land bank in Malaysia, particularly in prime and upcoming locations. Its core business lies in the property and plantation segments.
