In the fourth quarter, it had revenue of RM851.3 million compared with RM522.09 million in the corresponding quarter last year, while pre-tax profit rose to RM136.20 million from RM85 million a year earlier.
The rise in revenue and pre-tax profit for the year and quarter under review was attributed to higher contributions from all its divisions, said the developer in a statement to Bursa Malaysia.
It also attributed the increase in pre-tax profit for the fourth quarter to higher contributions from its property, water-related and expressway divisions. Gamuda said it expects a challenging business environment for all its divisions in the following financial year and expects its performance to remain “satisfactory”.
