Property developer Glomac Bhd has introduced The Art Commune @ Suria Stonor – an art gallery that boasts a personal connection with art within the high-end residence.

The first exhibition held at the Suria Stonor Show Gallery has already begun from the 15th of last month and will end on July 30. The exhibition showcases various local and foreign artists and their collection of paintings.

The year long project between Glomac and The Art Commune, a group avidly supporting local visual arts, is scheduled to dazzle the art scene until October 2008.

Artist E.H Chee will be starting the exhibition for the month of June and July with his paintings, highlighting his mastery use of colours in his abstract expressions or suggestive figurations.

Amongst other artists in the group include prominent names such as Yap Hong Ngee, Jane Yap, Fauzin Mustafa, Zaim Darulaman, Azman Hilmi, Zulkefly Tahar, Suzli Ibrahim, Norhanem Mohd, Mohd Taquddin Bahro, Mohd Shukri Mohammed and Yeak Ping Lian.

In addition to German sculptor Volker M. Hamann and leading Shanghai artist Ai Zheng.
