Plans to revamp Land and General Bhd’s (L&G) property division is underway with its first major mixed housing project for the year in Sri Damansara, Selangor.

To be launched by the end of the year or early next, the development is the first of several that are planned for the upcoming years, with a focus on Sri Damansara as the company has 40 to 50 acres in the vicinity.

Previously, the company has kept under the radar after undertaking a restructuring exercise to pare down debts and dispose of its non-core assets.

L&G has integrated township developments located in Lembah Beringin, Bandar Sungai Buaya, Villa Puteri and Bandar Sri Damansara.

The company is also involved in property development an management, education services an oil and gas exploration.
