With rents skyrocketing in the central business district in Singapore, the country is on the move to sell the first site for temporary offices due to the impending supply shortage.
Singapore's longest economic expansion in a decade is fuelling demand for office space as companies continue to expand.
The Government will sell a piece of land near the Orchard Road shopping strip that can be constructed to 15,666sq meters of office space, said the Urban Redevelopment Authority, adding that the lease on the one hectare plot is slated for ten years.
