-- Despite being surrounded by modern and new commercial buildings, the facade of Wisma Central looks old and worn down. This old office complex was constructed long ago before there was KLCC. Nevertheless, it is located at the most strategic and prime area of KLCC.
Directly next to Wisma Central is a piece of vacant land, which is said to be future Four Seasons Hotel and Residence. It seems like a big contrast to have one of the world’s most luxury hotel chains sitting next to an old and worn down building. Eventually, as land prices escalate in KLCC vicinity, it makes more sense to demolish the old building and rebuild a new one.
