Fahrenheit 88 is a shopping mall located in the Bukit Bintang shopping district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Fahrenheit 88 building (previously known as KL Plaza) is currently under undergoing extensive renovation works and is targeted to open its doors on 8 August 2010. Management and leasing of the shopping mall will be handled by the same company that manages the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall.Inspired by the fashion fusion culture of Tokyo seen in shopping centres like Shibuya 109, the Fahrenheit 88 will be the most trendy retail sensation to hit KL

Bintang Walk is referred to the more developed stretch along the main Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail roads, with the intersection of this two roads as its axis. the Pavilion Group. The sale consisted of the 5-storey shopping podium for RM425 million, and 59 service
apartments located on top of the shopping mall for RM45 million.

In early-2010, a publicity exercise was embarked by the Pavilion team, with major local press reporting on the rebranding of the building as Fahrenheit 88; the name reflecting the average temperature in Malaysia (31.1
C). Building renovation works, already underway during that time and reportedly costing RM100 million, will entirely change the interior and exterior of the old and outdated building. Entrances are being repositioned and
glass facades will be a prominent feature in the new design, allowing ample natural light to illuminate the interior.Future development plans envisage a underground bridge linking Fahrenheit 88 with the Pavilion shopping mall.Fahrenheit 88 will consist of 300,000 square feet of lettable space spread over 5 levels of zoned shopping space.

Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn. Bhd. will function as Fahrenheit 88’s management and leasing team, and they bring with them a wealth of experience and a proven track record as they also manage the hugely successful Pavilion KL.
