Residences in Alam Damai have nice landscaped and neat roads, but the traffic condition in the internal neighborhood is quite bad. It takes around 15 minutes to be trapped in the neighborhood during the morning peak hour. Somehow, there is a new road under construction to solve this problem. It is afraid that another traffic jam will be caused in Alam Damai, even though the new road is available due to the alternative road from Alam Damai to Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, which can avoid the toll.

There are playgrounds in Alam Damai, but they seem a little bit dangerous as the playgrounds are located on the hill and afraid the children will fall down to the ravine accidentally when out of observation from their parents. Anyway, there is a Dewan Serbaguna Cheras in Alam Damai for people to play badminton.

Alam Damai is actually not far from other vibrant downtown areas. It is just 18km from Petaling Jaya and 22km from Putrajaya and Cyberjaya via Cheras-Kajang Highway and East-West Link. Hence, it is really a strategic place to stay or invest.
